ASU-GSV Summit 2023 – an Unforgettable and Electrifying Experience
Last week we had an absolutely amazing experience at ASU-GSV Summit in San Diego. It was an electrifying conference, and we are still buzzing from all the inspiration.
We were honored to be presenting Cirkled In as Elite200 company. We feel the love and respect from our Education community as we are innovating how we connect our next generation of students to their post-secondary college and careers.
The conference brought great leaders, innovators and trail blazers all in one venue for three days and energy was unparalleled. Many EdTech Leaders blessed the stage at ASU-GSV, including our all-time hero Sal Khan. GSV team has done an incredible job in creating this community. During the summit – there are no limits to imagination. In some ways, we felt like a little kid who is not worried about what is possible and what is not. We imagined the unimaginable.
We are thrilled to announce Cirkled In’s partnership with ASA. We always say –
Individually we are droplets. By joining hands, we become a wave – a wave of change!
We are looking to bring the much-needed change with our strategic partnerships.
Summit also had a lot of fun components with many happy-hours and cocktails and our favorite Women of Power – Ladies luncheon, hosted by none other Deborah Quazzo. We were lucky to be invited to this private event and listened to the legend Jane Fonda on how to use your influence to drive change.
We also had a special invite to a Happy Hour where rapper “DMC” decorated the stage. His music got everyone on their feet and added a refreshing and fun energy to the whole conference.
We are not in the 1900’s anymore. This is truly the 21st century – on the calendar and in our lives. Most of us wake up to our cell phones for the latest news from the world as well as our friends. We get on a video call with family members thousands of miles away, even in totally other parts of the world. We work remotely with colleagues all over the world in all different time zones, but we collaborate on a design document on a shared whiteboard.
We get in a stranger’s car to go to places; we live in strangers’ houses while traveling and we get our groceries delivered within 2 hours! That’s the world we are living in. Who knows how AI will change this world even more.
We need to prepare our next generation youth for TODAY’s and TOMORROW’s worlds. As this summit’s very apt theme “you cannot use the old map for the new world”, at Cirkled In we are drawing a new map, a generative map that evolves every day as the world changes around us. And we are doing it with the users of the map. After all Gen-Z is a digitally native generation so why not bring them on the table while designing the map for them.
Here is creating the future we crave!
