Cirkled In CEO Reetu Gupta Awarded Popular Choice in National Fast Pitch Competition

SEATTLE-- Yesterday, Reetu Gupta, CEO and Founder of college admissions platform Cirkled In, placed second place among 139 companies in a national fast pitch competition organized by Women Founders Network. In addition to placing second, Gupta was chosen for the Popular Choice Award, which was awarded by audiences using popular vote.

“Startups are hard, I say harder than childbirth,” Gupta said. “It’s an emotional roller coaster. You are tired, chronically. You get more rejections than kudos but you still keep going. And you become stronger, smarter, wiser - everything you never thought you could do, you end up doing.

And then a win comes along the way. A win - which is different from winning money, prize or any materialistic things.”

She added, “It’s win of people’s heart and love. It’s a win of people’s belief in you and your business. It’s a win that lasts a lifetime as you win friends, allies, advocates and champions. This win is one of those for me.”
