Not even a pandemic could stop rising junior and March 2021 scholarship winner, Lindsey Scogin, from achieving her academic and extracurricular goals!
Lindsey just finished her sophomore year at Farmington High School in Arkansas where she was involved in school leadership activities such as National Honor Society and student council, where she will serve as Secretary for the 2021-2022 school year!
Whew, 2020 was a difficult year! But despite the challenges it presented, sophomore Kaushik Srikrishnan from Chapel Hill, North Carolina continued to serve his community and pursue academic challenges that moved him closer to his future goals. That’s why we’re elated to announce Kaushik has our December 2020 “No Sweat” Scholarship Winner!
As a whole, higher education is making major changes during this time of uncertainty. To better grasp the plans that colleges and universities have to meet their community’s needs, we have been conducting interviews with higher-ed professionals to collect key insights. We recently had the opportunity to speak with Paul Seegert, the Director of Admissions at the University of Washington (UW), to hear his valuable feedback about what the future holds for UW. Self-driven aptly describes Cirkled In’s April 2020 “No Sweat” Scholarship winner Della Paloy. Her drive propelled her all the way to Kobe Japan where, as the winner of the Washington State Japanese Competition, she spent 10 days touring historical sites and immersing in the culture while living with a local family. She was determined to go to Japan, and she did!
